On A Shoestring is Bradenton's running and walking specialty store, featuring Brooks, New Balance, Mizuno, Puma, Saucony, Avia, Spira, K-Swiss, Pearl Izumi, Aravon, Ecco, Etonic and Dunham. From running and walking shoes and apparel to TRI gear, we have it all, including hats, visors, sunglasses, apparel, compression sleeves, nutritional products, socks, hydration systems, injury prevention products, Garmin, RunnerGirl, books, magazines, BodyGlide, and inserts by SuperFeet, Arch Molds, Downunders, Spenco, and Sof Sole.
We are also a Tampa Bay Breast Cancer 3-Day Outfitter.
We offer shoe fittings, wet test, and treadmill gait analysis. Our passionate and professional staff will take the time to fit you properly with a shoe designed to help you achieve your goals, whether it be a new personal best or easing foot pain.
On A Shoestring offers a free weekly "Walking for Fun" group on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. Runners also welcome! Drop your keys at the store while you walk or run and enjoy refreshments and a place to change before and after.
